Dr. Julio Cantero graduated from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogota, Colombia in 1994 obtaining his MD degree.
He attended Georgetown University School of Medicine for his Residency in Neurology. There, his interest for caring for people with epilepsy was fueled.
An additional two-year fellowship training at New York Presbyterian hospital and Columbia Comprehensive Epilepsy program provided him with cutting edge knowledge on treating patients with epilepsy.
Dr. Julio Cantero currently practices Neurology at Intercoastal Medical Group where he provides families with the best possible care in epilepsy.
